Terms and Conditions
- • The spaces come in 4 different sizes.
- • When you ‘buy’ a space you will not ‘own’ any part of the homepage or this site, but rather you are granted the right to submit a featured image, title, description and YouTube or Vimeo link which will then be published on the homepage in the respective space you have paid for.
- • Submitted featured images , titles, descriptions and links will be reviewed to insure that your content meets our guidelines and respects the other owners and their spaces. If you’re unsure whether your video meets our guidelines, please contact us before reserving your space.
- • In the event that we get a high volume of submissions to have pixel spaces added, the review time may vary and could take longer than expected. We will do our best to get all submissions updated as quickly as possible but cannot make any guarantees as to how much time that may take.
- •In addition to your video being featured on the home page, each level of ad space will get a mention on the sponsors page mentioning you, your brand or cause with a link to the website, blog, social media link or URL of your choice. Sponsors will be added to the sponsor page in the sponsor section that corresponds to the pixel space size reserved. Individual sponsors within each section will also be listed in the order that spaces were reserved.
- • If your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot receive a refund.
- • “For Life” in the indiegogo campaign refers to the life of the website. We will never resell your space to anyone else. Our goal is to keep the website live for at least 10 years. Hopefully more if we can get fully funded!
- • If the website goes viral, it could be a potential target for hackers. This could cause the site to go down or it may go down due to unforeseen issues with the server we’re hosting on. We will do our best to keep the website up as much as possible. We are not held liable for any down time due to such circumstances. We will keep a backup of the website ready for such an instance and will do our best to get the site back up and running as quickly as possible. We cannot make any guarantees as to how long it may take to recover from such an event.
- • No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted, and we decide what is appropriate for our site. If you submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative. If you’re unsure if your video will be accepted, feel free to send us a message and we’ll take a look at it and let you know.
- • If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the homepage, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publicly available again.
- • Featured Images must meet your featured image specifications and the pixel space size should meet the pixel dimensions of the space you’ve paid for.
- • Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size.
- • Images must NOT be animated (imagine how messy the homepage would look).
- • Links to YouTube or Vimeo videos must be http:// not https://.
- • You must have the authority to provide content for your space that you submit.
- • Funds must be fully received and cleared before your pixels go live on the homepage.
- • There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance but I’ll try and keep these to a minimum.
- • Once you’ve ordered and the funds have cleared (eg. in my PayPal or bank account), I will aim to get your pixels online within 24-48hrs (but please have patience if things kick off and loads of people order at the same time.
- •Million Pixel Videos reserves the right to modify the pricing of the pixel spaces at any time until all spaces have been reserved. This means that the price you may have paid for your space, may not be the same price someone else pays.
